Casareyna is located in what past times were 16th,17th and 18th century houses where local workers lived and which were surrounded by different factories. In those times a great river, where today is May 5th Boulevard which divided Puebla from the neighborhoods, from Puebla of the Spanish people marking great differences in the style of construction, decoration, spaces, flavors and environments.
The photo gallery of this space shows how the property was before the architectural rescue by the architect Ricardo Legorreta, the artist Esteban Chapital and the businesswoman Angélica Moreno where retaining the robust walls, generous spaces and style, they printed their unique and personal stamp and achieved an impeccable fusion between the old quarter and contemporary Mexico, creating a space full of art, details and unique style, where Talavera de la Reyna unique pieces, works by prominent Mexican and foreign artists and the Hotel Management of Rodrigo Alvarez and Jiménez have made Casareyna a reference in the hotel industry and cuisine in Mexico and the world.
Casareyna opens its doors to the public in May 2007, originally counting with 10 suites, restaurant, bar and the characteristic basic services, in 2012 the first growth takes place where the cava is incorporated with specialty in Mexican wines, a multipurpose room, Terraza de la Reyna and a new space for Talavera sale.
In 2016, the last phase of expansion was completed, which after two and a half years of meticulous work by Mr.Chapital, Angélica Moreno, Rodrigo Alvarez and Marco de la Mora, gradually opened the new rooms, rest spaces, guest areas, restaurant and bar area, and the new services that Casareyna actually has, turning it into an icon in Puebla and a landmark in mexican hospitality and gastronomy in the world.
